Laura is one of the founding members, choreographer, performer and dance teacher in 1960’s and 1970s style Go-Go Dance Company The Meyer Dancers. The Meyer Dancers are known for their authentic vintage look, from beehives and go-go boots, to custom made 70's jumpsuits, the company look is carefully crafted to transport the audience back in time and get the party started...
Within the Meyer Dancers, Laura has a vast CV of experience including, film work "Guerilla" (John Ridley), "Lost In London" (Woody Harrelson), ITV “This Morning Show”. Performing for V&A as part of the Mary Quant exhibition opening. Curating and performing at an authentic psychedelic performance evening at Handel & Hendrix (Jimi Hendrix Museum), Mayfair.
Modelling and performance collaborations with Rimmel Make Up UK, Fifi Chachnil at The V&A and photographer Matt Henry (as featured in The Guardian 2017). TMD have performed for countless bands and DJs including original 60's icons The Pretty Things, Arthur Brown, The Trashmen, Geno Washington and The Sonics.
Festival tours include: Glastonbury, Latitude, Lovebox, Secret Garden Party, Isle of Wight, The Trip Out, Berlin Beat Explosion.
Laura teaches popular 1960’s style Go-Go workshops and courses in the Meyer Dancers and really enjoys working with people who share her passion for all things 60s and 70s.
